Foresters of Tatarstan take part in the National Forestry Forum in Izhevsk

Today, on March 26, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan takes part in the National Forestry Forum in Udmurtia.

The National Forestry Forum is organized under the guidance of the State Duma, the Federal Assembly, the Federal Forestry Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture. In the first starting stage, Ivan Valentik, Head of the Federal Forestry Agency, Aleksandr Brechalov, Head of Udmurtia, as well as Nikolai Nikolaev, Head of the Profile Committee of the State Duma are participating there.

The main goal of the Forum is to increase the efficiency of forest use as a national wealth of Russia for the benefit of the country and citizens. The Forum will give every forest industry professional the opportunity to express their vision of the prospects and

The Forum will give every forest industry professional the opportunity to express their vision of the prospects and ways of forest management development. For representatives of the legislative branch, discussions at the forum will help to outline a further plan of initiatives and identify weak spots in the chain of law enforcement practices of existing laws.

On the forum platforms, the participants will discuss the efficiency of state forest management, the prospects for the development of multipurpose use of forests, including the collection and processing of wild plants, hunting, timber harvesting by citizens for their own needs. The forum will not ignore the problem of forest supervision, including protection of forests from fires, as well as development of public organizations and the involvement of volunteer teams in forests conservation.
