Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan visited forestry enterprises of the Tomsk Region
Within the framework of working visit of the delegation of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, to Tomsk, the Minister of Forestry of the Region, Ravil Kuzyurov, visited the forest processing enterprises of the Tomsk Region. Among them are Sibirles OOO (Limited Liability Company), Tomlesdrev OOO, Asinovskiy Forest Industrial Park and others.
After getting acquainted with the production activities of colleagues R. Kuzyurov, representatives of Sabinskiy forestry, Forest Selection and Seed Center of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the leadership and staff of the Forestry Department of Tomsk Region, discussed future cooperation.
As already reported by the press service of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the meeting resulted in signing of an Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Forestry of the Tomsk Region.
At a round table in a friendly atmosphere, representatives of the regional forestry departments agreed to work together to study the prospects for using light aircraft to monitor the state of forests and their treatment from diseases and pests, to study creation, reconstruction and maintenance of protective forest plantations, and to distribute and introduce best practices for the conservation, protection and reproduction of forests.
Collaboration of departments will continue in 2019. Tomsk foresters expressed a great desire to get acquainted with the activities of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and to adopt the unique experience of Tatarstan in the field of forestry.
