Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the All-Russian conference "Technological Initiatives in Forest and Forest Land Accounting"

Today, the All-Russian Conference “Technological Initiatives in Forest and Forest Land Accounting” was held in Novosibirsk. The event was organized by the Federal Forestry Agency, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg” with support of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.

The forum was attended by the Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency, Mikhail Klinov, heads and specialists of relevant authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg”, representatives of the scientific community. Participants of the event discussed issues of state forest inventory, forest management, delineation of forestry and forest parks borders, information technology and education.

Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, made a presentation on topic “Systematization of Forestry and Technological Processes in the Forest Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan through Digitalization” at the conference. He acquainted the forum participants with the state of forestry sector of Tatarstan and elaborated on the issues of setting up the Avers software product - accounting system for forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Geoinformation System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. “GIS will be a geo-information portal with all the data on forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. These solutions will help to automate the activities of the Ministry and subordinate institutions (forest districts and local forest districts)”, Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized.

According to him, in addition, Digital Model of the Republic of Tatarstan project is being implemented in Tatarstan, within the framework of implementation of the Aeronet roadmap of the national technology initiative of ANO VO Innopolis University, together with the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Its goal is to increase the controllability of the territory through the use of remote sensing data. Currently, work is underway to capture the territory from space, manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, post-processing of images and creation of geo-information services, including for the needs of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the future, through digitalization, we plan to systematize all the processes in forestry, which will lead to optimization of the industry”, concluded Ravil Kuzyurov.
