Raids on prevention and detection of forest legislation violations continue in Tatarstan. Fact of illegal logging of elm forest stands was revealed during the regular patrol by the employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The violation was recorded on the territory of Abdinskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Kzyl-Yulduzskiy Forest District". A Protocol on administrative violation was drawn against the guilty person.

In total, 156 cases of illegal logging of forest plantations were detected in the republic in 2018. The damage amounted to 6.1 million rubles.
