Ski racing competitions in memory of the honored forester of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Nurgali Minnikhanov were held in Sabinskiy district of the republic
Today ski racing competitions in memory of the honored forester of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Nurgali Minnikhanov were held in Leskhoz village in Sabinskiy municipal district.
Vasil Gizzatullin, the Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Sabinskiy Forest District", welcomed the participants of the competition. “We hold such competitions every year. Nurgali Minnikhanov was an outstanding man who devoted practically his whole life to the forestry sector. In the period from 1962 to 1990, he headed the Sabinskiy timber industry enterprise. Under his leadership, a lot of work was done to improve the efficiency of forest resources use, production facilities for wood processing were created and issues of social development were addressed. We are proud that Nurgali Minnikhanov lived and worked in our district”, he said.
11 teams took part in the ski race - representatives of the subdivisions of the SPI of RT “Sabinskiy Forest District” and the Meshinskiy rural settlement.
According to the results of the competition, the team of the Meshinskiy rural settlement took first place. In second place is the team of the administration of the SPI of RT “Sabinskiy Forest District”, in third place – team of Sababash district forestry.
