Work on state monitoring of forest reproduction started in Tatarstan
Employees of the branch of the Federal Budgetary Institution “Roslesozashchita” – “Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan” began work on state monitoring of forest reproduction. In particular, 4 forest nurseries in the Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi, Kamskiy, Laishevskiy and Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprises, as well as the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan were surveyed. In general, the condition of nurseries and planting material is assessed as good.
Along with this, field studies were carried out to analyze the characteristics of forest plantations. To date, 6 plots in Nizhnekamskiy and Elabuzhskiy forest districts have been surveyed, which is 18% of the field work schedule. Now the institution is working on the processing of field data.
