Work on agrotechnical care of forest crops on the area of more than 11.2 thousand hectares was carried out in Tatarstan

Work on agrotechnical care of forest crops continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 16 this year it is performed on the area of ​​more than 11.2 thousand ha.

In total this year, such work will be carried out on an area of ​​17.9 thousand hectares. The largest volumes of work were performed on the territory of the Sabinskiy forest fund (1.2 thousand ha), Kzyl-Yulduzskiy (690 ha), Arskiy (590 ha), Menzelinsky (550 ha), Bugulminskiy, Nurlatskiy (530 ha each) and Kaibitskiy (490 ha) forest districts.

Agrotechnical care of forest crops is a set of techniques aimed at improving the conditions for survival and growth of cultivated trees and shrubs by loosening the soil, destroying weeds, planting plants, etc. The multiplicity of care is determined taking into account local conditions.
