“Clean Forests of Tatarstan” environmental campaign was held in Nurlatskiy district of the republic
“Clean Forests of Tatarstan” environmental campaign took place in Nurlatskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The cleaning took place on the territory of forest fund of the Mamykovskiy district forestry of Nurlatskiy forest district - along the road leading to the Butaikha village. More than 30 people joined the campaign - employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forest District”, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forestry Enterprise”, the administration and citizens of the Mamykovskiy rural settlement, as well as the pupils of the “Young Forester” school forestry of Mamykovskaya secondary school.
The participants exported more than 5 cubic meters of solid household waste and felling trees from the forest fund.
“The purpose of this campaign is not only to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in forests, but also to foster a caring attitude towards our “green wealth”, said Rustem Galeyev, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Nurlatskiy Forest District”. - I would like to sincerely thank the participants for their help. The campaign has just begun, we will conduct such events for two months”.
Let us recall that the autumn stage of “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” environmental campaign started in the republic on September 16. The campaign will be held in all municipal districts until November 16. Within its framework, it is planned to clean the territory of the forest fund from municipal solid waste, dead wood, improve springs, repair arbors, nameplates and information boards in forests, conduct classes and environmental competitions for students of educational institutions.
