The environmental campaign “Forest Week - 2019” continues in Tatarstan

The environmental campaign “Forest Week – 2019” continues in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, within its framework, the territory of the forest fund was cleaned in the 6th quarter of the Kumazanskiy district forestry of Mamadyshskiy forest district. The event was attended by employees of the State Public Institution of Tatarstan “Mamadyshskiy Forest District”, the State Budgetary Institution of Tatarstan “Mamadyshskiy Forestry Enterprise”, the administration of the Oluyazskiy and Nizhnetakanyshskiy rural settlements and pupils of school forestry of the Oluyazskiy Lyceum in Mamadyshskiy district.

In total, 5 cubic meters of solid municipal waste were exported from the forest fund by their forces.

Director of the Federal Budgetary Institution “Roslesozashchita” branch - “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” Nadezhda Kuzyakina met with pupils of the school forestry “Nurgali onyklary” of Leskhoz secondary school of Sabinskiy district. The meeting was also organized as part of the campaign “Forest Week - 2019”.

During the lesson, Nadezhda Kuzyakina told pupils about the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the ongoing work on forests conservation, protection and reproduction and the activities of the branch.

Employees of Tatneft-Kabel OOO also joined the campaign. They planted thuja seedlings in a park in Bavly. A total of 15 seedlings were planted.

“We took part in the campaign with pleasure. I hope our “green corner” will decorate the city”, said Albert Khasiyatullin, a Leading Engineer of the enterprise.

The Republican environmental campaign “Forest Week – 2019” will last until October 12 of this year. As part of the campaign, industry experts carry out work on planting trees, cleaning the forest fund territory, landscaping recreational areas in forests, installing nameplates and banners on fire and forest protection topics, collecting seeds of forest plants and conducting environmental lessons in educational institutions.
