A round-table discussion on topic “My profession is a Landscape Designer” for first-year students of the specialty “Landscape Gardening and Landscape Construction” took place at the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College. The event speakers were 4th-year students in this area, participants and winners of the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) championships Stanislav Kozyrev and Ruslan Zaitsev.

The conversation was devoted to issues of professional standing and personal development. Stanislav Kozyrev and Ruslan Zaitsev told freshmen about the features of their profession, employment opportunities and shared their experience in participating in the championships.

“There is nothing impossible, you just need not to give up on the way to your goal, even at difficult times, Stanislav Kozyrev said, in particular, during his speech. - In general, professional competence is the sum of knowledge and skills gained, the result of your training and victories over yourself. I am sure that it is possible to have a general idea of ​​many things, but to become truly competent is possible only in one area. It’s important to be able to dig inland, not in breadth”.
