A seminar-meeting on implementation of federal state forest supervision was held at the Ministry

Today, the Ministry held a seminar on implementation of federal state forest supervision (forest protection) in the territory of the forest fund of the republic. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, head-foresters, their deputies, forest conservation and protection engineers, local foresters from Arskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Isleitarskiy, Lubyanskiy, Nizhnekamskiy, Prigorodnyi and Sabinskiy forest districts.

The seminar was held by the Head of the State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry Airat Akhmerov. During the theoretical part, he spoke about the regulatory legal acts governing the implementation of federal state forest supervision, the rights and obligations of state forest inspectors, features of conducting scheduled and unscheduled, documentary and field inspections, forest control measures (patrolling and planned (raid) inspections, survey).

Airat Akhmerov also dwelt in detail on the issues of determining the amount of compensation for harm caused to forests and their natural objects as a result of violation of forest legislation, the rules for issuing warnings on inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and requirements established by municipal legal acts, drawing up acts on forest violations and protocols on administrative offenses.

In particular, the speaker recalled that the amount of compensation for harm is calculated in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2018 No. 1730. “The volume of wood is determined according to assortment tables used in the regions of the Russian Federation, according to the first category of heights in the bark. The diameter of the tree trunk is measured at a height of 1.3 meters, in the absence of a tree trunk - by the diameter of the stump of a felled tree”, Airat Akhmerov emphasized.

During the practical part of the seminar-meeting, its participants strengthened their knowledge regarding drawing up protocols on administrative offenses and calculating compensation for damage caused to forests.
