An alignment meeting on topic “Carrying out of young growth tending, withdrawal of timber cutting areas for improvement cutting and cutting of mature and old-growth timber, forest plantation development in State forest resource” will be held in premises of Menzelinsk forestry. Almas Nazirov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as experts of executive office of the ministry, managers – foresters and directors of subordinate authorities will take part in the meeting.  

It is planned to review forest nurseries, areas of forest fir-tree plantations of the year 2017 with mechanized care conducting, also to get acquainted with technology of cutting areas deflection for clean cutting of mature and old-growth timber, as well as to conduct analysis of wood logging by timber logging complexes “Amkador” and to get acquainted with technology of selective salvage cutting by timber logging complexes (harvester + forwarder) in the visit seminar.  

Forest fund of Menzelinsk forestry is one of the largest in the Republic of Tatarstan and comprises more than 70 thous. hectares. Menzelinsk forestry is comprised of Aktanyshskiy, Kalininskiy, Menzelinskiy, Muslyumovskiy, Yurtovskiy, Usinskiy forestry divisions. The forests are located in the territory of Tukayevskiy, Menzelinskiy and Muslyumovskiy administrative districts.
