and veterans of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan!
On behalf of the staff of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the upcoming New Year 2021!
The outgoing year turned out to be difficult not only for forestry workers, but also for other spheres and branches of activity. Despite this, our team was able to cope with all the tasks set. Within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology” in Tatarstan, reforestation work was carried out on an area of 4,784 hectares, 23.3 tons of forest seeds were harvested and 37.4 million pieces of standard planting material were grown. Under the program “Development of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2024” protective forest plantations were established on an area of 2,450 hectares. In general, the measures taken made it possible to improve the sanitary and forest pathological state of forests, reduce the number of forest violations and make a significant step forward in the digitalization of the industry. In 2020, 189 units of forestry, forest fire and logging equipment were purchased and transferred to subordinate institutions. Scientific cooperation with the Technical University of Dresden also continued. Also, in the republic, environmental actions were held “Garden of Memory”, “Let's Save the Forest”, commemorative plantings were laid on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar ASSR on an area of 269 hectares. With the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, the implementation of a program for the overhaul of buildings of subordinate institutions of the Ministry began, measures to support young specialists came into force and the level of wages of workers in the industry was significantly increased.
Of course, behind these results is the daily, hard work of the forestry specialists. High professionalism, responsibility and dedication to your work is what characterizes each of you and allows you to strengthen the socio-economic potential of the region. I sincerely thank you for your invaluable contribution to the development of forestry and well-coordinated, fruitful work for the benefit of our native republic.
In 2021, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the state body for managing the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Lubyanka Forestry College. Also, we are faced with equally important tasks to improve the efficiency of measures for the protection, protection and reproduction of forests, preserve biodiversity, ensure environmental safety and improve the quality of life of citizens.
Dear friends! New Year is one of the most long-awaited and favorite holidays. Being with our family, we all make wishes with the chimes and believe in miracles. I sincerely wish you all of them to come true, and every day to be sunny and bright!
