The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has begun preparations for the fire hazardous season of 2021. Currently, within the framework of a set of measures, “Consolidated plan for extinguishing forest fires in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan” is being developed.
This document will display information about the forests of the republic, the number of forest fire units, firefighting equipment and equipment, the procedure for attracting and using such funds in accordance with the level of fire hazard in forests, etc.
In addition, forestry specialists will conduct active explanatory work among the population to prevent the occurrence of forest fires (these are lectures, talks about forests and the need for careful handling of fire, speeches at regional meetings with the participation of representatives of institutions, organizations and enterprises, in the media and etc.).
Recall that in 2020 the fire season in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened on April 6 and closed on October 20, its duration was 198 days.
