By the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Makhmutov Ramil Mukhametovich was released from his position of acting Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on the initiative of the worker on the grounds envisaged by paragraph 3 of the first part of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and paragraph 3 of the first part of Article 33 of the Federal Law “On the state civil service of the Russian Federation”.

The church of the Trinity has been put into operation as per schedule, and the work on restoration of orthodox churches damaged at the end of 2013 still continues. At present, State public establishments “Almetles” and “Kzyl-Yulduzles” are about to complete finishing works. Religious buildings and constructions will be transferred to the Kazan Eparchy at the end of August — on the eve of the Republic Day.

The International contest among students and postgraduates of the higher educational establishments for the best piece of work regarding law enforcement in the field of forest legislation is held by the Federal Forestry Agency.

        The contest committee will name winners of the contest and will decide on awarding the winners of the contest with diplomas of merit for the first, second and third places with the following bonuses: 50 thousand ruble for the first place, 30 thousand rubles for the second place, and 15 thousand rubles for the third place.

         Pieces of work of students of Kazan State Agricultural University participate in the contest.

“Bashvatkych” from Tatar translates as “crossword, puzzle”. The editorial staff of the program invited three participants from ministries and forestry establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan to test themselves in the field of forestry management, flora and fauna of Tatarstan. Besides their knowledge, the rivals demonstrated erudition in the creative art as well – they were to name as many forest-related riddles and songs as possible.

The program “Bashvatkych” will air on the eve of the professional holiday – the Day of Forestry Worker.

The Minister of Forestry met with Deputy Director General of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Mr. Philippe R. Scholtes in the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Austria. The project on reforestation of the water protection areas of basins of large rivers of the Republic of Tatarstan together with UNIDO and the Global Ecological Fund was discussed during the meeting. Moreover, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan met with Deputy Director of the Forestry Department under the Ministry of Land, Forestry, Environment and Ecology of Austria, Mr. DI.DR. JOHANNES SHIMA, in the course of the meeting. Moreover, in the course of this meeting, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, N.G. Magdeev, made a report-presentation on the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the framework of the international exposition INTERFORST-2014, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, N.G. Magdeev took part in the work of the Russian-German scientific conference in the field of forestry on the following topic: “Genetics, forest management, forest recovery and climate change” that was held on May 17-18, 2014 in Munich, Germany. The Minister made a speech “On the prospects of creation of the Scientific and Production Center ‘Oak forests of Russia’ and its role in preservation and restoration of oak forests of the Russian Federation”.

Each year workers of forestries carry out great work aimed at creation of sketches, manufacturing and installation of forest facilities. In 2013, all in all, 135 landscaped recreation places were installed at local forestries.

        This year 130 new but not duplicated facilities of small architectural form designed in natural style appeared on the plots of the forest fund. All of them are installed at forest edges along highways of the Republican and federal importance.

Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia – Permanent Representative of the Republic of Karelia under the President of the Russian Federation Mikhail Sokolov and the Minister for Nature Resources Management and Ecology of the Republic of Karelia Viktor Chikalyuk are included into the delegation.

     Meetings at the establishments of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, familiarization and experience exchange are on the agenda of the stay of Karelian guests.

The delegation of Tatarstan headed by the Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev takes part in the 12th International exposition INTERFORST-2014 in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the UN Industrial Development Global Ecological Fund for the industrial development (UNIDO) that is held once every four years by the Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of Germany.

        Modern technologies in the field of processing and production of wood are presented at INTERFORST-2014 in Munich. The exposition is accompanied by scientific conferences; in particular, the Minster Nail Magdeev is to speak at the Russian-German forest scientific conference.

Online voting is held in the framework of the All-Russian Patriotic campaign “Parkway of Russia”, following the results whereof the symbol of the Republic will be chosen, which will represent Tatarstan on the first Russian Parkway in the park of the Victory of Sevastopol. English oak now enjoys the biggest amount of votes on the portal ruspriroda.ru, and it is followed by linden and pine.
