During the open lecture of the Minister of Forestry RT Nail Magdeev at the University, dedicated to the International Forest Day, Kazan scientists were interested in the possibility of usage scientific projects for implementation them in the forestry of Republic. So the opening of Forest selecting-seed center is asking for a great amount turfy substrate. Because of this the group of cathedra of soil science in biology - soil faculty of Federal University started works in examining of peat deposit on the territory of Republic of Tatarstan and finding the right receipt for selecting center. By the Scientific technical committee of the Ministry of Forestry of Republic of Tatarstan defined and developed the main topics of scientific research. The scientists offered to take part in this committee and lead scientific consultations. By the results of the meeting it was decided that there will be signed an Agreement between the Ministry of Forestry and Kazan (Privolzhskii) Federal University in the sphere of scientific support of forestry in Republic of Tatrstan.

For efficiency of fork and documents introduction in integrated interdepartmental documentary system in the Ministry of Forestry RT went special education of subordinate authority members – state budget subordinate authorities “Forestry”, state authority “Les” of reserved forestry and Lubyanskii Forestry College on which the head of documentary support management D. Mikheev. 

In discussion of the topic “Chishmeler sere” (the secrets of springs) the Head of special inspection for condition of biodiversity N. Khabirov told about the importance of springs which are the essential part of potable water supply.

The Head of reserved forestry “Kichke-Tan”A. Faizullin told about the action “The March of Parks-2013” and awarded with the diplomas of the forestry administration those who was marked in ecology-educational projects of librarians.

Due to the fact that winter is still on its position in the Forest selecting-seed center of Republic of Tatarstan which is located in Sabinskii municipal region the spring works are already started. The sowing and the start of first rotation 3 million of Norway spruce and Swiss mountain pine is going on. And 1million of seedlings will be planted till the end of March. In this season for the first time the Forest selecting-seed center made a planting of decorative crop – one of the kinds of acacia.

This day all the faculties of Kazan State Agricultural University welcomed their future students. The Dean of the faculty of forestry and ecology and the administration of the Ministry met with the school leavers who came to the University with their parents and the Heads of forestry. For them was shown the film about work of forestry in Republic and the first Deputy of the Minister Kh.Musin and the Dean of the faculty told the guests about the conditions of studying, future profession, showed the classes. The students of the university prepared the concert of the amateur talent groups for the guests.

The memorial of table tennis dedicated to the memory of honored forester USSR Nurgali Minnikhanov visited in Sabinskii region the President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Also the tournament was visited by the Adviser of the President RF, the Chairman of school board of table tennis federation in Russia Igor Levitin, the Head of Sabinskii region Rais Minnikhanov, the Minister of Forestry RT Nail Magdeev.

Traditional table tennis tournament is going on Leskhoz sport complex in the 12th time. In the tournament take part competitors of 26 regions of RT, 17 cities of Russia, the sportsmen from Poland and China. In the row of competitors are the champions of Russia 2013,  the members of the country team. In his words the President of Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov wished to the contestant sport success. “And I hope that somebody of you will come to the Summer Universiade in Kazan and get the medals for our country.”

On 21st of March in the International Forest Day at the same time in 8 schools – Verhkneuslonskaya, Pechischenskaya, Shelangovskaya, Vakhitovskaya, Oktyabrskaay, Tatburnashevskaya, Vvedenskaya and Naberezhnomorkvashskaya – were made the Lessons of forest. The members of Privolzhskii forestry showed a film to the pupils about the work of the Ministry of Forestry RT about the innovational technologies. There was a special interest of the kids to the Forest selecting-seed center in Sabinskii region. At the end of the talk the foresters asked the kids about the rules of behavior in the forest especially in fire season and the kids asked to support them in tree planting and beautification of their territory.

The Ministry of Forestry RT and state authority forestry “Les” supported the International action “An hour of Earth” which is going to happen on the initiative of WWF. On one hour they switched off all lightening of administrative buildings and architecture-decorative tap-lights of the Ministry.

The Minister of Forestry of RT Nail Magdeev will take part in informational-analytic program of TV channel TNV “Seven days”. The topic of their discussion with Ilshat Aminov is the International Forest Day and innovations in forestry of Republic. the program will be on TV on 24th of March.

“I chose forest” – that was the logo which choose for himself the student of 1st course  Artem Tishkin the student of Moscow State University, the main hero of the documentary film of WWF of Russia. In the basis of the film is his travelling around different regions of Russia and the talk about different professions connected with forest.

On the premier of film which was organized by The Public Chamber of RT came the First Deputy of the Ministry of Forestry Kharis Musin, Dr. of agricultural science, the academician of Russian Academy of agricultural science, The President of Russian society of Foresters, Anatolii Pisorenko, the students of faculty of forestry and ecology of KSAU, Lubyanskii Forestry College and school forestry of Republic.
