The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a briefing on the beginning of the fire season
Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, began his report in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT with statistics. Since the beginning of this year, more than 660 forest fires have occurred on the territory of the Russian Federation, on the area of 252 thousand hectares.
As of April 16, the greatest number of forest fires was registered in the Amur Region - 161 pcs, for more than 177 thousand hectares. There, due to forest fires, the emergency regime was introduced. Primorski Territory - 148 pcs, on the area of more than 30 thousand hectares, the Trans-Baikal Territory - 200 pcs, more than 9 thousand hectares.
The Minister said that in Tatarstan a fire season began on April 15. Also Ravil Kuzyurov noted that the foresters are completely ready for this period. Forest fire brigades consist of 343 people, 310 units of equipment. On the territory of the republic there are 23 fire-chemical stations, 18 of FCS-II type and 5 of FCS-III type. 150 mobile fire extinguishing groups were formed.
The Minister noted that in 90% of the cases, people are responsible for forest fires. The fire occurs due to non-compliance with the elementary rules of fire safety. Most fires occur in connection with the beginning of the summer season and in the May holidays.
Ravil Kuzyurov spoke about preventive measures aimed at preventing forest fires and reminded of the fines.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails a warning or imposing an administrative fine on citizens in the amount from 1 thousand 500 rubles up to 3 thousand rubles; on officials - from 10 thousand to 20 thousand rubles; on legal entities - from 50 thousand to 200 thousand rubles.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests in conditions of a special fire regime entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 4 to 5 thousand rubles; on officials - from 20 to 40 thousand rubles; on legal entities - from 300 to 500 thousand rubles.
