Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan participate in the events of GIS Tech Russia conference
Today a conference on geographic information technologies GIS Tech Russia was opened at Innopolis University. The forum brought together leading experts in development and implementation of geographic information systems, representatives of government bodies and industry companies of the country. Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Akhmadullin, Ramil Gilmanshin, Nail Mirsiyapov and Artem Makarov participate in the conference events.
Business program of the forum provides for a series of events in which it is planned to discuss the prospects for development of IT industry and technologies, digitalization processes in Russia, possibilities of geographic information systems in optimizing the activities of institutions, etc.
It is worth noting that currently the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, is working to create an Information System for accounting of forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Geoinformation System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to improve the system of state forest management. In addition, geo-information service is being developed for monitoring and control of state of the forest fund based on remote sensing data. In 2019, it is planned to implement the automated integration of this service with the GIS of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
