Students of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College participate in the finals of the VII National Championship “Young Professionals”

Today in Kazan, the third and final day of the finals of the VII National Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) takes place. Competitions are held at 6 sites, including on the basis of Kazan Expo.

The international exhibition center presents 91 competencies, as well as 23 high-tech competencies of the Future Skills block, the so-called “professions of the future”. WorldSkills Russia Juniors (children aged 14–16) compete in 48 competencies, participants in the Skills of the Wise (adults 50+) - 26 each. More than 1,500 contestants participated in the final of the VII National Championship Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) in Kazan. Together with the Russian participants, foreign participants also take part in the competition - 131 competitors from 26 countries compare their skills with the level of training of Russians.

The competition for the competence of “Landscape Design” is attended by two students of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution “Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College” - Stanislav Kozyrev and Ruslan Zaitsev. “Stas and Ruslan entered the national team in 2018, demonstrating excellent results among 10 contestants, said college lecturer, coach Nail Serazetdinov. - A lot of work has been done, guys have been preparing for a year at the base of the center in the Moscow region. Now they are competing with a team from Moscow for participation in the world championship, which will be held in Kazan from 22 to 27 August. The results will be known tomorrow, on May 24th”.
