A regional seminar-meeting devoted to forest management issues was held in Alkeyevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a regional seminar-meeting on forest management issues was held in Alkeyevskiy municipal district. The event was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the municipal district Aleksandr Nikoshin, the Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, the heads of departments of the Ministry, head-foresters of Aksubayevskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Bilyarskiy, Bolgarskiy, Nurlatskiy, Cheremshanskiy forest districts, as well as directors of Aksubayevskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Biyarskiy , Bolgarskiy, Nurlatskiy and Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprises.
First, the participants of the seminar-meeting examined the administrative building of Alkeyevskiy forest district, the greenhouse, the production site and the warehouse for storing silvicultural machinery and equipment. When inspecting the objects, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, instructed the Director of the Alkeyevskiy forestry enterprise, Amir Gizitdinov, to pay special attention to the quality of harvested seeds and consider the possibility of organizing a charcoal workshop. “This will allow rational use of wood residues and increase the profitability of the institution. It is not difficult to find points of sale”, said the Minister.
The next point of the route was the forest area in quarter 15 of Bazarno-Matakovskiy district forestry, where coupe demarcation was carried out for cutting. The age of these plantations is 42 years. Works aimed at rejuvenation of plantations are planned to be held this year on the area of 1 ha.
Further, the participants of the seminar-meeting visited the basic forest nursery of the Alkeyevskiy forestry enterprise in quarter 96 of the Bazarno-Matakovskiy district forestry and got acquainted with the reforestation carried out in quarter 101 of the Chuvashsko-Brodskiy district forestry. Lyudmila Zheltukhina, Deputy Head-Forester of Alkeyevskiy forest district, said that after the fire in 2010, 94 thousand pine seedlings were planted here on the area of 20 hectares. In 2016, plantings were included in the forest fund.
At the end of the practical part of the seminar-meeting, the participants assessed the quality of planting of forest crops in quarter 104 of the Chuvashsko-Brodskiy district forestry. In the current year, birch and pine seedlings were planted on the area of 7.9 hectares in this area.
The plenary session was held on the basis of Alkeyevskiy District House of Culture. The main report was made by the Head-Forester of Alkeyevskiy forest district Ilsur Zaynullin. During his speech, he announced the results of the institution for the first half of 2019. Thus, during this period, works on artificial reforestation on were carried out the area of 61 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest cultures - on 235 hectares. 50 km of new mineralized belts were created and maintenance of the existing barriers with a total length of 69 km was fulfilled.
“Since the beginning of the year, 8 protocols on administrative offenses have been drawn up and 27 warnings have been issued on the need to comply with fire and sanitary safety rules”, Ilsur Zaynullin added. - At present, we are continuing to work in this direction”.
The Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov summed up the meeting. He gave a positive assessment of the activity of Alkeyevskiy forest district and forestry enterprise. “You took into account the remarks which I gave last year”, the Minister said. “I ask you not to slow down the pace of work.”
In addition, Ravil Kuzyurov focused on selection of sites for laying water protection plantations along the tributaries of the Volga and Kama rivers, compiling forest pathological survey reports, conducting the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, working in the Online Accounting System and others. “Also I ask you to conduct special control on issues of harvesting of seeds of forest plants and the cultivation of planting material. We should not forget our main task - to improve the species composition of the forests of the republic”, the Minister concluded.
