Specialists of the Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan checked the quality of standard planting material in forest nurseries
Specialists of the branch of the FBU “Roslesozashchita” “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” carried out work to assess the characteristics of planting material in the basic forest nurseries of the republic as part of the state monitoring of forest reproduction.
Following the schedule, planting material was checked in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kyzyl-Yulduzsky Forestry”, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaibitsky Spetsemleskhoz” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolsky Experimental Forestry”. During the survey, the height and diameter of seedlings, the degree of infestation with weeds, the presence of signs of diseases, damage by pests, etc. were determined.
According to specialists from the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, the condition of the seedlings is assessed as good.
