A planned field inspection on state monitoring of forest reproduction was held at the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan
A scheduled on-site inspection of the fulfillment of the state task for 2022 on state monitoring of forest reproduction in the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of specialists from the Federal Forestry Agency was carried out at the branch of the Federal State Institution Roslesozashchita “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
In the course of the work, the scope of work performed to assess the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of forest plantations during reforestation, assess the quality of seeds of forest plants and seedlings used in reforestation, and seedlings of the main forest-forming species were checked. Field surveys were carried out, identified using the technology of remote sensing of the Earth, lands not occupied by forest plantations, and requiring reforestation to determine possible methods of reforestation. In addition, the documentation compiled based on the results of fieldwork by the specialists of the department “Tatar Forest Seed Station” was studied.
