Students of the 9th grade of the MBOU “Leskhozsky secondary school” visited the Arsky forestry
Pupils of class 9 “B” of the MBOU “Leskhozsky secondary school” of the Arsky district visited the building of the cone dryer of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry”. The excursion for the children was conducted by the engineer for forest management of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry” Ilsiyar Khairullina.
Ilsiyar Khairullina told the students about the features of collecting and storing seeds of the main forest-forming species, growing standard planting material, etc.
After schoolchildren got acquainted with the exposition of the Forest Museum. There they learned about the history of the formation of the Arsky forestry, famous foresters, saw herbariums, collections of seeds of tree and shrub species, forestry equipment, and tools that were used by forest industry specialists in the 9th-20th centuries.
