According to parts 1 and 2 of Article 50.4 of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation, wood is to be transported by any means of transportation only if there is a forwarding document , which should be executed by legal entities and sole entrepreneurs that own the wood.
Starting January 1, 2015 wood transportation without an accompanying document executed in compliance with the procedure as required by the Forest Law shall be subject to an administrative fine imposed on officials in the amount varying from 30 to 50 thousand rubles with/without forfeit of wood and/or transportation means being the administrative crime instrument; for legal entities – from 500 to 700 thousand rubles with/without forfeit of wood and/or transportation means being the administrative crime instrument (part 5 of Article 8.28.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
The corresponding order was signed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almas Nazirov, became part of the steering committee, and the plan of measures was developed at the Ministry in the framework of this Year, which will be aimed at popularization of the issues of complex development of territories, their beautification and landscaping, as well as creation of comfortable conditions for the population.
