A meeting of the Operations Commission of the Federal Forestry Agency was held in Nizhny Novgorod and concerned improvement of efficacy of payment management and arrangement of the claim-related work in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation located within the boundaries of the Volga Federal District.
A solemn delivery of equipment to the State Public Establishment “Prigorodnoe forestry” will be held on August 21, 2014 at 11 am on the territory of a fire-chemical station of the third type “Vysokaya gora” (Iske-Kazankskoe local forestry, State Public Establishment “Prigorodnoe Forestry”) in the framework of the charity support by State Public Establishment “Prigorodnoe Forestry”.
Representatives of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, officials of the Federal Forestry Agency, representatives of the Forestry Department in the Volga Federal District, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, as well as heads of executive authorities authorized in the field of forestry relations participate in the meeting.
The First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Kharis Musin will speak at the meeting with a report on the “Work on collection of the arrears regarding payments for the use of forests. Favorable experience regarding prevention of the arrears”.
According to the results of the study conducted this March by the Adam Smith Institute (Adam Smith CONFERENCES. Forestry), representatives of the Russian and foreign large forest business call the Republic of Tatarstan the most attractive region for investment into the forestry field.
They explain such a choice by the fact that the forest field in the Republic of Tatarstan is stable, predictable, and it develops in compliance with adopted long-term programs and commitments.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the aid has already been rendered to 9,760 future pupils of the first form, and 12.6 million rubles have already been attracted (whereof 1.6 million will be allocated to purchase of the school uniform). Fellow workers of the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan help schools located in forest villages: construction materials are allocated for the repair works, and planting material is allocated for the purposes of beautification of their territories. On the threshold of a new academic year, experts of the Office of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan had collected financial means that were used for the purchase of school bags with school accessories. During the solemn ceremony “Help get ready for school” they were presented to the future pupils of the first form from low-income families of Agryz municipal district by the Chief Administrator Adel Galiullin. Head of the Administration of Agryz Municipal District Valery Makarov took part in the event.
The main aim of the Council work is to define priority trends of forestry development on the territory of the Russian Federation and to ensure collective elaboration of recommendations with regard to the projects of normative and legal acts in the field of forest relations.
The Council includes heads of forestry agencies of the Southern, Siberian, and Ural federal districts, as well as Head of the Forestry Department of the Volga federal district Alexander Ornatsky.
The delegation from the Republic of Bashkortostan was welcomed by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Magdeev. The First Deputy Minister Kharis Musin familiarized the Bashkir colleagues – Deputy Minister Rishat Sharafeev, Head of the Department for Legal and Personnel Work Venera Vakhitova and Head of the Department for Economics, Planning and Management of Payments Irika Sharafutdinova – with the structure of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting, the conversation concerned specific details of forestry management and the advantages of the forest management model adopted in two Republics.
The All-Russian campaign for the tourist and recreation landscape park “Bezhin Lug XXI century” still continues.
The field meeting of the Federal Forestry Agency was held in Krasnoyarsk and was devoted to the issues regarding payments for the use of forests and reduction of the arrears.
More than 50 experts from the Siberian Federal District came to discuss the current situation along with representatives of the Federal Tax Service and the Federal Bailiff Service.
On opening the meeting, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Anatoly Buldakov acknowledged that the problem of the arrears with regard to the payments for the use of forest is taken under special control on the federal level, and it was ordered to the regions to reinforce the work on the management of payments.
Working relations are always maintained between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Committee for Forest and Hunting Sector of the Republic of Crimea, and the relevant recommendations are given on entering of the Committee for Forest and Hunting Sector of the Republic of Crimea and forestry companies of Bakhchisaray district into the legal terrain of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation.
During the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to Bakhchisaray district of the Republic of Crimea that was held on April 18-20, 2014, 2 kg of seeds of the Crimean pine were brought for the purposes of their experimental planting in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. At present, total area of the planting material from the Republic of Crimea to the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan amounts to 122.4 square meters, and automated watering and nursing for the young crops are ensured.
In their turn, the Crimean foresters acknowledged that during the whole summer fellow workers of the State company “Bakhchisaray forestry establishment” were nursing and watering the joint memorial plantings planted in Bakhchisaray.
