After deliberate burning of orthodox religious buildings in autumn 2013 in Albay village of Mamadysh district, the workers of Kama Forestry and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kamales” rebuilt a church in honor of the Nativity of the Saint John the Forerunner; the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was present during the opening ceremony.

At present, construction of one more church is almost over at the village Kreschenye Kazyli of Rybnaa Sloboda municipal district. Fellow workers of the State Public Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzskoe forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduz les” are erecting the bell tower and laying the roof. To that extent, 87 cubic meters of industrial wood from coniferous trees were prepared and forwarded for the construction works by the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduz les”.

No forest fires happened over the last weekend owing to the forest protection services of the Republic.

The regional dispatching point of the Ministry works 24/7, telephone number of the duty operator is 8 (843) 221-37-95, and there is also a direct hotline of the Federal Dispatching Service of the Federal Forestry Agency at 8 – 800-100-94-00. At present, specialists of the regional dispatching point of the Ministry registered 245 cases of fire outbreaks (uncontrolled agricultural burning) on the territories of agricultural formations on the area of 1,174.22 ha in Menzelinsk, Buinsk, Chistopol, Novosheshminsk, Nizhnekamsk, Leninogorsk, Elabuga, Vysokaya Gora, Laishevo and other municipal districts of the Republic.

When such messages are received, the workforce and means of the establishments subordinate to the Ministry are immediately sent to the fire outbreak site in order to prevent the spread of fire to the forestland. Owing to the timely reacting of the fire extinguishing services of the establishments subordinate to the Ministry and the fire extinguishing service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic, no spread of fire to the forestland has been allowed so far.       

The issues regarding household-related corruption were discussed during the meeting of the Anti-corruption Council under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Council was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Chairperson of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, as well as heads of ministries and authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the meeting.

An exposition devoted to the issues regarding school education development was held in the framework of the August meeting of the specialists in the field of education and science in Bogatye Saby. One of the show cases was devoted to the forestry of the Republic represented by Saby forestry and Scientific-Experimental Saby forestry establishment. School forestries were represented by “Nature heirs” from Arsk forestry, as well as pupils from Buinsk, Kzyl-Yulduzskoe and Prigorodnoe forestries. They showed their products that they had grown on the school territory, along with their creative pieces of work – crafts, drawings, and woolen handiwork.

The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Magdeev, welcomed the pupils and talked with them.

The Federal Forestry Agency is the organizer of the seminar-meeting together with the Federal Autonomous Establishment “All-Russian Institute of Further Training of Executives and Experts in the field of forestry”.

Representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities and their local bodies, state governmental authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of forestry relations, forestry departments for federal districts, Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Roslesinforg” participate in the meeting “Execution of cadastral works on the forest fund lands. Problems and ways of solution”.

According to the report of the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan, sectional work of 350 directors of secondary schools will be held in Saby district. At 7 discussion sites, directors will discuss relevant issues regarding school education development. A plenary sitting of the section will be held at Shemordansky vocational school of Saby district, where Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov will make the main report on secondary education development. The plenary sitting of the Republican August meeting of specialists in the field of education and science with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take place on August 15 on the following topic: “Tatarstan: Education of the innovation region”.

There is a school at Leskhoz village of Saby district and for many decades now it has been working in compliance with a forestry-related program. Pupils of this school – nurslings of the school forestry for many times now have become laureates of forestry and ecological contests. They will tell about their successes at the exposition that will be held in Bogatye Saby before the meeting. Moreover, in 2011 Saby forestry was hosting participants of the All-Russian Conference of school forestries “New growth”.

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation – Head of the Federal Forestry Agency V.A. Lebedev and the President of the Union of Timbermen and Timber Exporters of Russia M.V. Tatsun made a suggestion to hold the championship “Wood chopper 2015” in Tatarstan along with the Forum “Forest and man”. As a reminder, this June the I Republican contest of tree fellers “Wood chopper 2014” was held in Saby Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, and, moreover, the national team of the Ministry participated and succeeded at the Russian Championship among tree fellers “Wood chopper 2014” in Kirov region. In September it is planned for a group of foresters of the Republic of Tatarstan to make an exploratory trip to the World Championship among timbermen that will be held in Switzerland.

In the address of Miron Tatsun it is emphasized that the Republic has favorable experience in holding of forestry-related events at the All-Russian and regional levels, participants whereof always give a high rating to their organization.

Discussion of the Program for the forestry development in compliance with the Basic state policy in the field of use, protection and reproduction of forests in the Russian Federation until 2030, approved of by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation as of 26.09.2013 under No. 1724-р, including solution of problems regarding separation of the indicators for implementation of the program for leased and not leased forests was included into the agenda of the meeting.

The contest is aimed at improvement of the prestige of the state civil employee of the Republic, extension of the best practices of the state management, identification and encouragement of employees with the best professional knowledge and skills. The candidates of specialists in various fields were selected in the Ministry.

After the elimination round, the commission headed by the First Deputy Minister Kharis Musin will coordinate the candidates to participate in the main tour that will be held by the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The voting held in the framework of the project “Russian Parkway” has been going on for over a month. It should reveal what plants will become the symbols of Russian regions and will be planted in Sevastopol. The trees will form a unique park and garden complex in the Crimea. Today, two trees out of all the plants presented for the voting as a symbol of Tatarstan lead the pack — lime (32%) and oak (29%).

An open public online voting related to selection of green symbols of the country will last until August 31, 2014. The project is aimed at visual demonstration of the country unity and enhancement of a direct emotional bond between the citizens of various regions.
