The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan continues work on restoration of orthodox churches

After deliberate burning of orthodox religious buildings in autumn 2013 in Albay village of Mamadysh district, the workers of Kama Forestry and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kamales” rebuilt a church in honor of the Nativity of the Saint John the Forerunner; the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was present during the opening ceremony.

At present, construction of one more church is almost over at the village Kreschenye Kazyli of Rybnaa Sloboda municipal district. Fellow workers of the State Public Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduzskoe forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduz les” are erecting the bell tower and laying the roof. To that extent, 87 cubic meters of industrial wood from coniferous trees were prepared and forwarded for the construction works by the State Budgetary Establishment “Kzyl-Yulduz les”.
