Movement of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan unites 1500 people
The results of work on the development of the movement of school forestries in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022 have been summed up.
In total, there are currently 114 school forestries in Tatarstan, which unite more than 1.5 thousand people. The average age of the participants is 14 years old. The range of activities of school forestries is quite wide: planting trees and shrubs in cities and villages of the republic, clearing the territory of the forest fund, making and hanging birdhouses, participating in various regional, republican and all-Russian competitions, conducting propaganda, environmental education of the population.
In 2022, students became participants in the environmental campaigns “Feed the Birds in Winter!”, “Let's Give the Birds a Home”, “Memory Garden”, “Protect the Forest from Fire”, “Pure Forests of Tatarstan”, “Live, Spring, Live!”, “Waste paper - save the tree”, “Batteries, give up!”, “Ecospring”, and “Save the forest”, held events dedicated to the Day of Reserves and National Parks, International Day of Forests, Day of Birds, Victory Day, Day of Forest Workers, etc. On July 27-29, based on the State Budgetary Educational Institution “Lubyansky Forestry College” in the village of Lubyany, Kukmorsky Municipal District, the V Meeting of School Forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” was held.
It should be noted that the intensity of the activity of pupils of school forestries does not decrease in the winter period either. The guys hold the action “Live, spruce”, “Feed the birds in winter”, etc.
