Ravil Kuzyurov got acquainted with the state of affairs in the State Public Institution “Mamadyshskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Mamadyshskiy Forestry Enterprise”. In the Kumazanskiy district forestry, the Minister inspected the areas where improvement cutting was carried out. Also, the Minister got acquainted with the sites of forest cultures of 2017 and 2018. In Klyaushskiy district forestry, Ravil Kuzyurov inspected two forest nurseries for growing planting stock, where more than 20 species of tree and shrub species are presented. In particular, such rare breeds as Lenzutsa Menzies and red oak. Also, Ravil Kuzyurov held a meeting with forest district and forestry enterprise staff, at which issues of financial and economic activity of the institutions and staffing of forestry in the republic were discussed. The Minister gave a satisfactory assessment of the organization of work in the Mamadyshskiy Forest District and Mamadyshskiy Forestry Enterprise.
"Only our children and grandchildren will be able to appreciate the result of our work, we need to pay attention to growing technology, the quality of planting material and the process of forest restoration", Minister Ravil Kuzyurov noted.
Today, 7 swimming pools were opened in Tatarstan - in Mamadysh, Pestretsi, Apastovo, Verkhniy Uslon, Kamskie Polyany, Krugloe Pole and Tyulyachi. The launch of sports facilities was attended by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Also at the event was the President of the Federation of Swimming of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ravil Kuzyurov.
The central launching pad was a swimming pool in the Mamadysh town; six more swimming pools were opened in other regions of the republic, with which a video bridge was organized.
As part of the working visit, the delegation of the Tomsk Region got acquainted with the work of the Arskiy forestry enterprise. They examined the fire-chemical station of the second type, the areas of thinning, where the harvesting equipment harvester and forwarder are operating, also visited the forest nursery. Also representatives of the Arskiy School Forestry "Nasledniki prirody" spoke to the guests and presented their scientific work "The Historical Beginning of the Kazanka River". This year a new direction has appeared - hunting.
Minister Ravil Kuzyurov told the graduates about the state of affairs in the forestry industry, about the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, about the importance of the forestry profession, met and talked with the guys. Future students made a general photo with the Minister, after which Ravil Kuzyurov wished everyone good luck in their studies.

Mikhail Malkevich said that the Tomsk Region is interested in the experience of forest management in the Republic of Tatarstan, the activities of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, the experience of which the Tomsk foresters plan to use in their work.
"Now in the region much attention is paid to reforestation. We are interested in how much the interaction with the Forest Selection and Seed Center can solve our problems", said Mikhail Malkevich.
The issues of attracting young staff to the forestry sector, combating "black" loggers, the work of school forest districts, and the use of forestry equipment "Amkodor" were discussed at the meeting.
Within the framework of the three-day visit, the delegation of the Tomsk Region will visit the Arskiy and Sabiskiy forestry enterprises, as well as they will have a tour to the largest Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in Europe.
Also, a delegation of foresters visited the Forest Museum of the Ministry today, where they were told about the history of the forest industry.
Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with the Head of the Committee for Industry, Environment and Climate in Opplann, Hirsty Bjernstad in the framework of his working trip to Norway, where the International Loggers Championship-2018 was held in Lillehammer from 2 to 5 August.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed forestry issues, as well as the possibility of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
The Chairman of the regional association of private forest owners Silje Ludwigsen - the Organizer of forest provision for the International Logging Championships-2018, the Chairman of the Norwegian Agricultural Technical Organization Tour, Voll Dombu, the President of the National Organizing Committee of the International Logging Championships -Inger Johanna H.Svete also participated in the discussions.
Within the framework of the International Logging Championships in Lillehammer for three days, a team from Russia fought with fellers from other countries, taking part in 5 types of technical disciplines: felling, chain replacing, precise bucking, bucking with combined cutting and trimming. The Championship gathered representatives from 28 countries. The Russian national team took the 10th place in the team event. In the individual classification a bronze medal in the discipline of cutting a log with a combined run, was given to Artem Shashkov from Cheboksary. In the personal championship among 120 participants the sixth place was taken by Ilya Shvetsov from Petrozavodsk.
In the premises of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, a workshop was held on forest registries, where it is recommended to carry out forest conservation and protection measures, and to carry out a forest pathological survey of the forest area. The event was attended by the employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the branch of the Federal Budgetary Institution "Roslesozashchita" "Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan", as well as the deputy heads and engineers of forest protection of the State Public Institutions “Forest Districts”.
Specialists of the branch of Federal Budgetary Institution "Roslesozaschita" "Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan" brought data on the sanitary and forest pathological condition of forests of the Republic of Tatarstan by the end of the first half of 2018, updated information on the movement of forest pathological examinations, and raised the issue of keeping the registers of state forest pathological monitoring.
The Head of the forest conservation and protection department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Mirsiyapov, told the audience about the use of the Bitmerlich’s angle gauge in conducting a pathological survey using the circular sites method.
The second part of the workshop-meeting was held in specially prepared forest areas for conducting full-scale training in the forest pathological survey, where forestry specialists trained ocular estimation to determine the status of the trees of the main forest-forming species, and in practice carried out work with measuring instruments.
Such seminars allow solving the urgent current issues on forests conservation and protection, taking timely measures in forestry issues.
The forest is a huge asset of Russia. It fills our lungs with oxygen, gives us its riches and, of course, protects us. Its main asset is trees. Whatever a man starts building, he requires a good tree. The forest is also a resting place. It is difficult to imagine life on Earth without beautiful, pleasing to the eyes and soul, forests. To preserve and multiply this beauty and wealth, in our time, good forestry specialists are needed. In the Kukmorskiy district there is a reserved area called Lubyany, it is here that such specialists in forestry are trained.
Lubyanskiy College is a college with a long history, having trained more than nine thousand specialists, employed throughout Russia.
Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College prepares specialists in three directions. Forestry and forest park economy, Economics and Accounting and Garden and Park and Landscaping, as well as students receive additional professional education. They master the professions of a timber feller, a tractor driver, a manufacturer of artifacts from a vine, a huntsman, a green worker, and a wood carver. Training is conducted in full time and in absentia, on a budgetary basis. There are sports sections: athletic, basketball, football, volleyball, skiing, hockey, shooting from an air rifle. “Merry Starts" and a tourist gathering are organized annually among the training groups.
Education is free, applicants are enrolled in college on the basis of interview results. The best students receive a presidential scholarship of 5000 rubles per month.
The Head-ranger Gulnara Mukhametkhanova conducted a tour of the forestry for schoolchildren. Interesting facts about the forest and its benefits for the person were heard by the schoolchildren of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Secondary Educational School No. 3. During the meeting, the children were told about diseases and pests of the forest, rules of human behavior in the forest, works performed by forestry workers, forest fires and the causes of its occurrence and fire prevention. Despite the fact that schoolchildren have a summer vacation now, the children gladly came to visit foresters to learn as much as possible about the forest and the work of forestry staff.
The Reforestation Engineer Nurfiya Ibragimova showed the children a forest nursery and told about the crops planted there and the work done to care for the crops.
The purpose of this event was familiarization with the work of forestry specialists, education of children with respect for nature, development of interest in environmental problems, formation of preparations for a conscious choice of a profession in the field of forestry. Children listened with interest, took an active part in the conversation, asked questions. Everyone liked the excursion very much, and, leaving, they promised not to forget about the benefits of forests.
In 2018, a competition is held among all 30 forestry enterprises and Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, which have the basic forest nurseries. The competition is held on the basis of the provision on the forest nursery of high culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, following which the winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
The aim of the competition is to increase the efficiency of farming, to provide silvicultural production and protective forestation with high-quality planting material, moral and material incentives for workers and engineering and technical workers of nurseries.
To acquire the title of the best nursery, it is necessary to have not only perfect seeding units, but also high rates of growing planting material, the introduction of an integrated system for growing planting material, etc.
The commission will visit nurseries and evaluate the participants. Nursery is a mirror of forestry, and high-quality planting stock is the future of the Tatarstan forest fund.
