Foresters of Tatarstan will take part in the mass ski race "Russian Ski Track". The race will start in "Lokomotiv" stadium in Yudino township. Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is expected to participate in the event.
Today Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a working meeting with the German delegation from Dresden Technical University.
Cooperation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan with foresters of Germany has been lasting since 2013. Today the parties exchanged views on the results achieved within the framework of the projects "Creation and use of forest plantations in the Republic of Tatarstan "LesPlan" and "Optimization of mixed plantings of oak tree and small-leaved oak in the Republic of Tatarstan "OMSK".
In order to implement these projects, Tatarstan was not chosen by chance. Foreign colleagues were interested in development of young oak plantations on the north-eastern border of their origin. In turn, for Tatarstan foresters the implementation of joint projects has become a good tool for sharing experience and knowledge on forest management in oak forests, as well as creating fast-growing tree species such as aspen and birch.
The leadership of the Ministry expressed hope for further development of cooperation in the scientific sphere of forestry, Tatarstan foresters will continue to monitor for experienced forest areas.
Kuzyurov Ravil Afraimovich was appointed to the post of Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksey Valeryevich Pesoshin presented him to the staff of the Ministry today. A.V. Pesoshin noted that Kuzyurov proved to be a good organizer, a capable leader and wished the newly appointed Head of Forestry luck and success in his endeavors.
On February 8, 2018 Research and Technical Board with participation of scientists-foresters of Dresden Technical University will take place in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the course of business meeting the parties will summarize the results of “LesPlan” and “OMSK” projects in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Federal Forestry Agency announces on conduction of "Foresters are opening the door" campaign and within 50 days invites everyone to familiarize themselves with the work of forestry personnel, foresters and forest rangers in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The campaign will be held from February 10 to March 30, 2018 as part of the celebration of the International Day of Forests (established by the UN General Assembly on March 21).
The main goal of the campaign is to demonstrate the openness of the executive bodies authorized in the field of forestry relations, the subordinate organizations of the Federal Forestry Agency, to assist in the vocational guidance of the younger generation and to ensure the inflow of future young professionals into the industry. This campaign is an excellent opportunity to acquaint as many citizens of the country as possible with the work of forestry enterprises, forestry, fire and chemical stations, aviation fire protection stations, forest seed centers, forest managers, forest pathologists, ask questions to those who daily work to preserve and increase the forest - the main wealth of the country.
During this period, at least two institutions will be selected in each of the regions, where excursions will be organized for schoolchildren, students and media representatives. Guests will get acquainted with the technical equipment of the forestry and fire-chemical stations, with modern equipment for performing various tasks. The foresters will demonstrate the work of the equipment, will guide guests through their fields, show different species of trees, teach them to determine their age, tell about the stages of tree growth, how to plant the tree properly and take care of it.
During the excursions, the participants will also learn about the history of creation of the Russian forest service, the wide range of tasks assigned to forestry employees, what threatens the forest and how to deal with these threats, and what everyone can do to protect the forest and its increase.
All-Russian campaign "Foresters are opening the doors" is held for the third time. For two years - in 2014 and 2015 - the campaign was held in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation and received a wide response among non-indifferent citizens. The initiative is supported by many governors, heads of municipalities, public figures and organizations.
Previously, the campaign was held in summer and autumn period and was coincided with celebration of the Day of Forest Workers, but now forestry workers are offering to know how different specialists of the forestry sector are engaged in the forest in winter period.
Before long and there will be no trace of snow. The weather will be warm; the probability of forest fires will increase. To forest fire season foresters of Tatarstan are preparing in advance. Currently the Ministry has formed a "Consolidated plan for extinguishing forest fires on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2018". The plan of measures on preparation for the fire dangerous period and the schedule of readiness check are also approved. The fire period in the forests of the Republic starts on April 15, 2018
Last weekend hockey players of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College played friendly match with the team of State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution “Kukmorskiy Agrarian College” and veteran team of VKKh “Kukmor”. An Attorney, Shakirov Rishat Nailevich, played in the team of veterans. Hockey players gave the gift of fine play and highlights.
An event dedicated to the Day of Russian studentship took place in Lubyany. Active participants of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College were awarded with certificates of honor and valuable prizes in various nominations “ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE YEAR”. Grand prix STUDENT OF THE YEAR among the students of the college in accordance with results of Internet voting was awarded to the student of 23sp group Selyunina Ulyana. Congratulations!
A meeting on development of a priority project “Preservation and pollution prevention of the Volga River” was held in the Ministry of Natural Recourses and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Representatives of Federal Water Recourses Agency, Federal Forestry Agency, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the meeting. Currently the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is participating in this project as a prospective planting material supplier and executor of plantings setting up. Ministry of Natural Recourses decided to hold scientifically grounded investigation on implementation of this project. The investigation will be conducted by the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Dmitriy Eremeyev – a pupil of 9B form of Nurlatskiy school forestry became the winner of the Regional Environmental Olympiad. In the distance round of the republican environmental competition the pupil presented his work on topic: “Asymmetry of birch leaves in Nurlat town and its precincts”. Dmitriy has successfully passed the first round and now he is going to defend the region honor in the republican level. On February 7 a theoretical part, on February 8 – project defense will take place in the city of Kazan. Let us wish good luck to Dima!
