The republican august meeting of education and science employees was held in Muslyumovo village with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan – Rustam Minnikhanov. Topic of the plenary session was “Ethno-cultural and educational potentials of education system of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Representatives of Executive office of the President, Executive Office of the State Council, Executive Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of RT, Heads of ministries and authorities, Heads of municipal entities, Heads of educational organizations attended the meeting.

On August 15, 2017 a briefing on topic “About fire danger periods in forests in 2017” was held in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of E.N.Bedertdinov – a First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and T.V.Karimullin – a First Deputy Head of the Main Department of the Russian Federation Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the course of briefing the speakers told to the media representatives about the work performing in order to prevent forest fires. Emir Bedertdinov noted that owing to cooperative work there were no forest fires in the Republic of Tatarstan for 7 years in succession.

As of August 15, 2017 in the Republic of Tatarstan 258 thermo-points were recorded, in all cases on-site investigations were carried out, all appropriate measures were taken.

Currently a strict control in order to prevent bonfires building, burning of refuse, harvested field, slashes, dried grass, leaves and rushes, and all types of fire-hazardous works, is performing.

607 groups consisting of police officers, employees of fire-fighting departments, self-governing authorities, voluntary fire guards and Cossack formations, with overall number of more than 2.3 thousand people were formed for patrolling the settlements in order to restraint burnings and timely detect fires. From the beginning of the fire danger period 184 cases of dried grass fires were prevented by efforts of these groups. Violation of rules of fire safety in forests is punishable by warning or administrative fine in the amount of from 1 thousand 500 rubles to 3 thousand rubles for citizens; from 10 thousand to 20 thousand rubles for public officials; from 50 thousand to 200 thousand rubles for legal entities.

Topical issues of reforestation including reforestation using closed root system were discussed within the framework of meeting held in the Arkhangelsk Region. First Deputy of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - E.N.Bedertdinov participated with working visit in the event. Renewed forest seed center located in the territory of Ustinskiy forest industry complex was presented to the foresters.

Federal Forestry Agency plans to construct forest selective-seed centers in six regions: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Altai Territory, the Arkhangelsk, the Voronezh, the Kostroma and the Leningrad Regions.

“At the earliest date, planting of ball-rooted seedlings will become of top-priority for the regions of Russia’ – noted Ivan Valentik – a Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation – Head of Federal Forestry Agency.

Creation of such forest selective-seed centers is connected inextricably with implementation of innovative technologies in the forest industry. They present high-technology industrial complexes for seed processing, production, storage, accelerated cultivation of forest ball-rooted seedlings on industrial scale under greenhouse conditions.

On August 15, 2017 a briefing on topic “About fire danger periods in forests in 2017” will be held in the conference room of the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of E.N.Bedertdinov – a First Deputy of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A regional stage of Championship among the tree fellers “Wood chopper-2017” is conducting in the Kirov Region. Specialists of forestry, logging operations, wood working enterprises and joineries, processing organizations are participating in the event. The employees of Nurlatskiy forest district are representing the Republic of Tatarstan team. The contest program involves exhibition of special machinery and equipment, workshops of the best logging operators, as well as cultural and entertainment program for the participants and guests of the event.

The aim of the event is to promote the status of forestry service occupations. By the results of the contest the best of the best will participate in the All-Russian Championship in Karelia.

An issue of Implementation of forest exploitation intense model was discussed at the plenary session in the Arkhangelsk Region with participation of Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation S.E.Donskoy, Head of Federal Forestry Agency I.V.Valentik. The First Deputy of Ministry of Forestry E.N. Bedertdinov represented the Republic of Tatarstan. Memorable planting of juvenile trees was carried out in Oktyabrskiy Park within the framework of the program. The foresters planted 30 five-year-old blue spruces.

A visiting meeting of Federal Forestry Agency is conducting in the Arkhangelsk Region. Emir Bedertdinov - First Deputy of the Ministry of Forestry is taking part in the meeting. An introduction tour in areas of forest crops with closed root system was conducted within the framework of the meeting. Pine seed plantations and improvement cutting areas were demonstrated to the foresters.

On August 9, 2017 an auction for the right to conclude a contract of purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized enterprises located in the forest fund of the Menzelinsky, Kaibitsky, Kamsky and Buinsk forestry districts was held in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

By lot number 58, the auction was declared valid. Protocols on the results of the auction are in the process of signing with the winners and contracts for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized enterprises will be concluded within ten working days.

By lots No. 1-2, 4-6, 16-27, 31-33, 38, 52-54, 57, 59, 60 the auction was declared invalid (subparagraph 1 of paragraph 7 of Article 80 of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation), due to a sole participant.

By lots № 3, 7-15, 28-30, 34-37, 39-51, 55-56, 61-67, 68-72 the auction was declared invalid due to the absence of applications for participation in the auction.

On August 9, 2017 the broadcast live of “Radio of Tatarstan” was devoted to professional training of foresters. Danilov Afanasiy Mikhailovich - a Director of Lubyanskiy Forest Engineering College was a responder. An interview was mostly concerned with issues on forestry activity, calling audience was interested in information about education in Lubyany in the field of Gardening, Parking and Landscaping.

A seminar-meeting on the topic "Cultivation of planting material in the conditions of the Zakamye, the technology of improvement cutting management, implementation of the Federal State Forestry Supervision, sanitation and health and safety measures" is holding at the premises of State Public Institution "Bilyarskoye forest district". The event is attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Almas Nazirov, employees of the Ministry administrative office, heads of subordinated institutions, precinct forest rangers. In the program of the seminar: introduction of the health and safety cabinet and maintenance of technical documentation, inspection of forest nurseries, familiarization with the technology of carrying out mechanized and manual care of fir-tree forest crops in the year of 2017, familiarization with the technology of oak cultivation in the felled forest areas and cutting of mature and declining forest plantations. In addition, foresters will inspect the site of aspen clones and protective plantations on the banks of the Cheremshan river.
