In Bolsheshemyakinskaya Secondary School of the Tetyushsky Municipal District the experts of Dolgaya Polyana Nature Sanctuary gave an environmental lesson during which the children were acquainted with the state nature sanctuaries located in the Republic of Tatarstan, told about their activities and flora and fauna species diversities. At the end of the event, the winner of the March of Parks 2016 campaign was awarded.

The seminar was held as a video-conference with the participation of representatives of the prosecutor of the republic, the Directorate of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Interior of Tatarstan, the Directorate of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of Civil Service and Personnel under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Directorate for the Supervision over the technical condition of self-propelled machines and other machinery of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Inspection of Small Vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and regional social insurance Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. G.A.Shamsutdinova, the Head of the Sector for Public Service and Personnel, took part in the seminar on behalf of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The issues related to the provision of information about income, expenses, assets, and property obligations by the civil servants have been discussed.

Since the beginning of the year,110.5 kg of seeds of coniferous species, of which 73 kg of pine, 30 kg of spruce, 5 kg of larch, and 2.5 kg of fir have been stocked. This year, the seeds are harvested faster and the volume as of the beginning of the calendar year is higher than the last year, by 24%.

Forest seeds of key forest species are harvested by different ways: they are collected from standing trees (conifer cones), from the ground (oak seeds) and from felled trees. The main harvesting of seeds of pine and spruce is carried out at final felling. The cones and seeds from growing trees are harvested by workers who are on the ground using removable devices mounted on poles or rods, or directly from the branches of the crown using lifting devices.

The experts of Zeya Buylary Nature Sanctuary gave an environmental lesson in A.Tulumbaevskaya Secondary School, Buinsky Municipal District. During the event, the children were introduced to the activities of the sanctuary, and upon the end of the lesson the students were given valuable gifts and a diploma of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On February 20, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Almas Nazirov takes part in a meeting of the Board of Nurlatsky Municipal District with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan E.N. Fattakhova. The issue “On the results of socio-economic development of Nurlatsky Municipal District for 2016 and tasks for 2017” is on the agenda.

Within the framework of the working trip they visited Nurlatsky Agricultural College, where they got acquainted with the progress of the structural repairs of the institution.

The experts of Agryzskoye Forestry took an active part in the mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia 2017”. Ski track took place in Oreshnik forest park. Previously, all participants have registered on the website of GTO (Ready to Work and Defense). Despite some excitement, the skiers had a festive mood. A bright sunshine as in spring and song events increased the pep.

On February 18, 2017 the competition “Ski Track of Russia 2017” was held. The foresters were involved in a mass ski race at Locomotive stadium, Yudino Village. Everybody got an energy boost and a lot of positive emotions.

Totally, this day in Tatarstan about 190 thousand people went on ski.

On February 16, at the Kazan building college there was a meeting of the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan A. Pesoshin with the winners of the regional championship World Skills Russia. The students of Lubyansky Forest Engineering College took part in the event.

A.V.Pesoshin recalled that in 2019 Kazan will host a global event – the World Blue-Collar Occupations Championship – WorldSkills Competition.

“Russia must win, and our contestants must show the best results,” said the Acting Prime Minister of Tatarstan. “Therefore, the leadership of the country and the republic pays the deliberate attention to the development of WorldSkills movement, and in championship 84 regions of the country, more than 60 thousand contestants and experts are already involved”.

A.V.Pesoshin also told that in 2016 by the decision of Rustam Minnikhanov the concept of the contestant training according to the international standards was developed: “This means that each of you will be in focus of the first persons of the republic's leadership, and sometimes of the whole country”.

The experts of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the National mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia 2017” in Yudino Village, Kirovsky district, Kazan.

Cross-country skiing is one of the simplest and most affordable winter sports. And what could be better than a skiing trip through the snow-covered wood in winter. Skiing allows switching off from the daily hassle, improve the mood and recuperate health.

On February 16, as part of the visiting session, the participants of the meeting visited the museum of Nurlatskoye Forestry.

The museum was founded in 2006. The exhibition tells about the history of the establishment of Octyabrsky Timber Industry Enterprise (now, Nurlatskoye Forestry) since July 1936. In the museum the materials about forestry activities of Oktyabrsky (now Nurlatsky) Municipal District since its foundation include the history of enterprise functioning during the war and postwar years are displayed.

In addition, the information on the management team, production progress, family dynasties worked in forestry enterprise was collected. Also, in the museum the old household items and awards of the school forestry unit are represented.
