Residents of Kazan are invited to clean the forest from debris in the forest plantations of the Derbyshki village and in Dubravnaya Street

First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov, spoke on the TV channel "Tatarstan24", during his speech he invited all residents of Tatarstan to participate in the "Forest Week-2018" environmental campaign, which will be held on September 8-14. During the coming week, foresters plan to conduct such activities as: harvesting of solid household waste and wood waste in the forest fund, conducting environmental lessons in general education institutions, improving recreation facilities in the forest fund, harvesting seed-bearing raw materials, installing additional posts and banners near federal and republican roads. A total of 132 events are planned for the republic.

As part of the program, a vote was taken, where spectators were asked whether they would go to harvest forest areas. 70% of respondents answered that they would gladly go if they were not busy at work. Emir Bedertdinov urged residents to go out to clean with the children; participation in such actions brings the younger generation careful attitude to the forest.

The start of the campaign will be given on Saturday - September 8, at 10.00. Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and volunteers will clean the forest of debris and windfall in the forestry of the Derbyshki village, near the Pribolnichnaya street. Cleaning the forest park on Dubravnaya Street with the participation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov will take place on September 11 at 16.00. The event will also be attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, volunteers, local residents. Everyone can take the initiative and make the forest cleaner. At the end of the event, a field kitchen is waiting for all participants.
