The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan held a Meeting of the Primary Trade Union Organization
A Meeting of Primary Trade Union Organization of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today. The event was attended by Deputies of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Emir Bedertdinov, Rais Gumerov, Administrative Officer Ilgizar Zaripov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of the Russian Federation Olga Kalashnikova, employees of the Ministry.
One of the main issues on the meeting’s agenda was the election of a new chairman of the Ministry’s Primary Trade Union Organization. By a majority of votes, Natalya Tyukayeva, Head of the Organizational Work Department, was elected as a Chairman of the Trade Union Committee.
First Deputy Minister Emir Bedertdinov thanked the former Trade Union Leader – the Head of the Department of Forest Reproduction and Afforestation Timur Galiyev - for conscientious work and wished success to the new Chairman.
Also within the framework of the meeting new members of the committee and the audit commission of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the Ministry were elected.
At the end of the meeting Olga Kalashnikova spoke on the main activities of the Trade Union Organization. She elaborated on protection of social and labor rights and legitimate interests of union members, human rights work and occupational safety and health.
In addition, Olga Kalashnikova informed the meeting participants about the measures of social support for union members and the events held - the youth educational forum “I am the support point of the trade union”, competitions “The Best Collective Agreement”, “The Best Territorial and Sectoral Agreement”, “The Best Outside Legal Inspector of Labor Trade Union in the Republic of Tatarstan" and others.
