Today, the Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais Gumerov, paid a working visit to the Menzelinskiy municipal district. The purpose - familiarization with the activities of subordinate institutions of the Ministry. When examining the facilities, he was accompanied by the Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forest District” Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev and the Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forestry Enterprise” Aidar Khaliullin.
Upon arrival, Rais Gumerov examined a type II fire station and got acquainted with the progress of a set of measures for the fire arrangement of forests. Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev said that currently, 30 km of new mineralized fire strips were created and existing mineralized strips with a total length of 50 km were maintained. Also, at present, the employees of the forestry enterprise are improving the recreation areas for citizens in the forests.
Then the Deputy Minister visited the production site, the base forest nursery of the forestry enterprise and assessed the progress of planting forest crops on the territory of block 100 of the Kalininskiy precinct forestry of the Menzelinskiy forest district. As of April 13 of this year artificial reforestation was carried out on the area of 10 hectares, more than 20 people were involved in the work.
