Agricultural Burning Must Be under Control! Fire is the Enemy of Forest!

The cases of burning dry grass increased 3 times in comparison with last year. Despite the fact that the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan issued Decision No. 212 dated April 3, 2017 "About Establishing a Special Fire Fighting Regime from April 25 to May 15, 2017", public of the republic continues to burn garbage and dry grass.

We remind you that during the period of the special fire regime it is FORBIDDEN to burn dry grass, burn firewood, combustible materials, and leave dead trees and bushes near roads, railways, overpasses.

It is also FORBIDDEN to burn out dry grassy vegetation, stubble residues on agricultural lands, and to do campfires in the fields.

According to Rosleskhoz's analytical data, last year 82 forest fires out of 100 occurred due to the burning of dry grass, when, due to lack of control, the fire switched to forest.

In 2016 (As of May 1) with the help of space monitoring 31 incidents of fire on agricultural and other lands were detected.

Foresters of Tatarstan warn - Be careful with fire! The fire is easier to prevent than put out.
