Foresters and ecologists conducted a joint raid in Vysokogorskiy district of the republic

Within the campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” inspectors of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a joint raid in Vysokogorskiy district of the republic. An unauthorized household and construction wastes disposal filed was detected in the territory adjacent to the forest fund.

Head of State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Tazmeev said that those forests had protective functions – they presented themselves an environmental frame of the city of Kazan, which provided the population with oxygen. The aim – is to ensure proper sanitary condition of this territory. By the way this week in Tatarstan an environmental oriented campaign “A Week of Forest” is conducted. Within the campaign the foresters gathered and scavenged more than 50 tons of solid household wastes from the forest fund.

In the words of the inspector of Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the republic Ruzil Sibgatullin, for violation of environmental regulations one may be faced a fine and requirement to remedy a violation. Such disposal field may result in unpleasant consequences, underlined the specialists. Pollution with rain and melt water may get in ground waters, which may result in damage to trees. It is necessary to liquidate the disposal field immediately.

An environmental oriented campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” will be continued till November 15.
