Citizens non-indifferent to nature will clear the territory from garbage and plant 5 thousand trees along the Kazanka River

An environmental oriented campaign “A Week of Forest – 2017” is picking up pace. Let us recall that the republican campaign started on October 7 and is conducted within the All-Russian campaign “Live, Forest!”. Tomorrow, on October 13, 2017 a planting of water-protective growing stock and clearing the area from household waste will be held in the territory of Russian-German Switzerland (by the Kazanka River, alongside of Arskiy cemetery) in Vakhitovskiy district of the city of Kazan. Employees of the ministries, students and school children will participate there. During the action the foresters will conduct workshops on planting of trees using special tools (Kolesov’s planting iron and Sabinskiy planting iron), which is used in forestry for seedlings planting.
