Admission to the Social Council under Federal Forestry Agency is declared

The Social Chamber of Russia, which has the authority to form social councils under federal executive bodies, decided to conduct a competitive admission of candidates for the Social Council under the Federal Forestry Agency. All persons interested in the competition, potential candidates, as well as specialized public associations and other non-governmental non-profit organizations are called to respond and participate in a very important event for the forestry sector. From October 23 to November 13, the Social Chamber of the Russian Federation accepts applications from citizens having experience in forestry industry and an independent position in the implementation of the proposed activity, the ability to protect the right and freedom of citizens in the forest sector.

We remind that the first membership of the Social Council under the Federal Forestry Agency was approved in 2005. From 2007 to 2014, it functioned under the name of the Social Environmental Council under Federal Forestry Agency. In April 2014, the Council again is renamed as Social. But already next year - according to the new standards of the activity of social councils adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation - the so-called "reset" of social councils functioning under federal executive bodies began. Unfortunately, it did not deal with the Social Council under Federal Forestry Agency.

And now it is necessary: to develop a new Regulation on the Social Council under Federal Forestry Agency, criteria for potential candidates applying for membership in the Council, to conduct a transparent procedure for selecting future members of the Social Council under Federal Forestry Agency together with the Social Chamber of the Russian Federation.
