In the Aksubaevskiy and Bilyarskiy forest districts, in the framework of reforestation works, seedlings of the main forest-forming species are planted
During the study tour, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected the sites of the State Forest Fund of the State Public Institution "Aksubaevskiy Forest District", where reforestation works were carried out. In the spring of this year, on site of sanitary cuttings, seedlings of European spruce and common pine were planted. Also, Ravil Kuzyurov examined a forest fund site where reforestation works were carried out two years ago; the survival rate of trees was 80 percent.
Later, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected State Public Institution “Bilyarskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Bilyarskiy Forestry Enterprise”. Ravil Kuzyurov examined the offices of the forestry department, the production workshops of sawmills and the forest nursery. Also, the Minister got acquainted with the sites of reforestation. In the spring on these areas, forest cultures of coniferous species with a closed root system were planted in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of Tatarstan. At present, the employees of the State Budgetary Institution “Bilyarskiy Forestry Enterprise” carry out work on mechanized and manual care of forest cultures, so that they do not obscure the proximity to secondary (undesirable) plants. Also, Ravil Kuzyurov examined the plantations of triploid aspen, which were obtained by the "Invitro" method. These trees are clones of elite aspens.
The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke with the staff of the forestry enterprise and forest district and wished them further fruitful work.
