Agrotechnical care for forest cultures is in process in the forest districts of Tatarstan
Activity of the forestry enterprises employees is mostly depends on the season - especially summer months are considered busy. This is a time of painstaking work. For successful growth of young trees, timely agrotechnical care for forest cultures is required. It is necessary to conduct four-fold maintenance during the growing season. Such maintenance can be carried out both mechanically and manually. In case of untimely maintenance, grass, as well as shoots of trees, cover the seedlings and do not give them access to light for active growth. Also, untimely carrying out of the waste is threatened by the fact that in winter, when snow falls, the grass leans on the seedlings and crushes them to the ground, which leads to the destruction of these forest cultures.
Agro maintenance started in forest districts is gaining momentum. At the moment, the work is completed at 60% of the total. The largest volume of work was done in Kamskiy, Kzyl-Yulduzskiy and Menzelinskiy forest districts. They account for 600, 500 and 700 hectares. And totally in the Republic of Tatarstan, agrotechnical maintenance was carried out on the area of 10,083 hectares.
