Working trip of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to the State Public Institutions "Kaleykinskiy" and "Almetyevskiy" forest districts
During the working trip, Ravil Kuzyurov got acquainted with the state of affairs in the State Public Institution “Kaleykinskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Kaleykinskiy Forestry Enterprise”. The Minister inspected the logging in the Kaleykinskiy district forestry. He also got acquainted with the nursery farm in the basic forest nursery, where he also talked with the workers who carried out care of the seedlings. Seedlings of the oak tree are now grown in the nursery of the Kaleykinskiy forestry enterprise, which in the future will replenish the forest fund of Tatarstan. Cultivation of the oak tree is a painstaking and difficult work.
Also at the moment, seedlings of the main forest-forming species, such as common pine, European spruce, Siberian larch are grown in the nursery. The Minister checked the quality of forest plantations of 2018 on the territory of the forest fund of the Kaleykinskiy forest district. This year, new forests on the area of 33 hectares were planted in the forest fund of the Kaleykinskiy forest district.
The Minister also got acquainted with the objects of the State Public Institution “Almetyevskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution “Almetyevskiy Forestry Enterprise”. Ravil Kuzyurov examined the planting of forest crops, which were planted this year on the area of 87 hectares.
Afterwards, a meeting was held with forest district and forestry enterprise workers, where various issues of forest management were discussed. In his speech, the Minister drew the attention of the staff to the quality and timeliness of the work performed, and also instructed to take into account the characteristics of the forest-steppe zone when selecting crops for planting.
