Dear foresters, forestry workers of the Republic of Tatarstan and veterans of the forestry industry!

     From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Day of Forest Workers!

     Forest is green wealth, one of the most necessary, most important and significant natural resources of the world. Our common goal and task is to preserve and multiply the forest lands for the present and future generations, to ensure their rational and careful use. Foresters are defenders of the forests of our country. Also, they are highly qualified specialists who are deservedly honored and respected. Thanks to their responsibility, indifference and devotion to their work, it is possible to strengthen the ecological well-being of Tatarstan. The forest is not only wood, it is the concept of the homeland, the Fatherland, the native land. Therefore, foresters are true patriots of our country who care and do their utmost to preserve and multiply forest resources for the benefit of Tatarstan and Russia.

     Forestry in Tatarstan does not stand still, the industry is developing. Modern technologies are being introduced in Tatarstan. High results can be achieved thanks to the support of Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Vehicle fleet has been renewed, forestry equipment has been purchased. Forestry works are conducted using modern technologies. Defensive forest plantations have been created on degraded lands. Reforestation work has successfully completed. The second meeting of school forest districts of the Republic of Tatarstan has been held. Throughout the firefighting period, we guard our forests around the clock, for 8 years in Tatarstan the situation with forest fires has been kept in check!

     I am sure that, thanks to the support of the Federal Forestry Agency and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, we will be able to realize the best ideas for increasing the forest area, the efficiency of the woodworking complex, and enhancing the prestige of the forestry worker.

     This day special words of appreciation and gratitude are addressed to veterans of the industry. Thanks to the experience, work and foundation that they laid in the foundation of forestry, the forest industry of Tatarstan continues to actively and successfully develop after decades. With all my heart I wish all employees of the forestry sector further achievements and professional success in their work for the benefit of preserving and multiplying our forests!
