Ministerial Meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, held a ministerial meeting, which reviewed the progress in implementation of instructions, and also outlined tasks for December of this year. The event was attended by deputy ministers, managers and specialists of relevant departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, opportunities for improving forest management efficiency, issues on measures to prevent, detect and stop violations of forest legislation requirements, protection of forests from fires and from pests and diseases, holding of auctions to sell the right to conclude forest plantations sale and purchase agreements, timber supply to enterprises of Tatarstan, etc. were discussed.
Ravil Kuzyurov instructed to strengthen the work on determining the areas of forest plantations that require sanitary measures and plots for laying water protection plantings in the municipal districts of the republic.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister focused attention on the need to accelerate the approval of the “Forest Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2028”.
