Head of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan made a working trip to Sabinskiy municipal district
Today Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited Sabinskiy municipal district.
Upon arrival, he held a Meeting in the premises of the Forestry Breeding and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. Development of design and estimate documentation for creation of a center for cultivation of pedunculate oak planting material with a closed root system were review at the meeting. This project is planned to be implemented on the basis of Forestry Breeding and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. During its implementation, the production capacity of the center will be 2 million oak and other hardwood seedlings with closed root system per year.
The meeting was attended by the Head of Sabinskiy municipal district, Rais Minnikhanov, specialists from the Ministry, the Forestry Breeding and Seed Center of the RT, and others.
After that, Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the Meeting of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Sabinskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational and Experimental Sabinskiy Forestry Enterprise” on topic “On results of work in 2018 and tasks for 2019; Consideration of implementation of collective agreements for 2018 and prolongation for 2019".
Vasil Gizzatullin, the Head Forester of SPI of RT “Sabinskiy Forest District”, the Head of Sabinskiy municipal district Rais Minnikhanov and others spoke at the meeting.
In particular, Vasil Gizzatullin said that last year work on reforestation was performed on the area of 115 hectares, care of forest cultures - on the area of 1,140 hectares, sanitary and recreational activities – on 817 hectares. “State forest inspectors conducted more than 600 forest fund patrols, compiled 39 protocols on administrative offenses”, he said.
During the year, 379 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested, more than 13.1 million pieces of standard planting material were grown, 12 million of which were with closed root system (on the basis of Forestry Breeding and Seed Center).
Ravil Kuzyurov praised the work of forest district and forestry enterprise in 2018 and thanked the specialists for their dedicated work and contribution to the development of the industry. “Here the work is organized at a high level”, he said. “I wish you further success and new achievements”.
At the end of the meeting, the awarding of distinguished employees of forest district and forestry enterprise was held. They were awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
