2019 federal campaign against forest fires "Stop the fire!" has started
2019 federal campaign against forest fires "Stop the fire!" has started. The fire prevention information campaign is supported by the Federal Forestry Agency, Federal Budgetary Institution “Avialesokhrana”, the executive authorities of the Russian Federation constituent entities in the field of forest relations, specialized agencies for protection of forests of regions of the country, voluntary forest firefighters.
Implementation of informational campaign-2019 includes creation and distribution of educational materials, distribution and broadcasting of social audio and video clips of fire-prevention purposes on television, in auto and railway transport, conversations in schools on fire-fighting topics, work of volunteers in the regions.
In addition, it is planned to introduce new fire-fighting materials into the life safety curriculum at schools, train volunteer fire brigades with involvement of professional forest firefighters, conduct a single day of fire-fighting campaigning and propaganda at the federal level, as well as a number of other measures.
An important factor in successful implementation of the “Stop the Fire” information campaign is involvement of all categories of the country's population in this work.
