Results of “Forest Generation” online quest were summed up in Tatarstan
Results of “Forest Generation” online quest were summed up in Tatarstan. It was held in the period from February 18 to April 10 of the current year at the State Budgetary Professional Education Institution “Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College” with support of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
17 teams formed from pupils of general educational institutions of the republic aged from 10 to 18 years participated in the online quest. For two months, participants performed various tasks and submitted reports to the organizing committee. Among the tasks were such as to hold an educational event on forest topics, campaigning in educational institutions to participate in environmental events, create a video promoting respect for the forest, collect and hand over waste paper, etc.
According to the results of the online quest, “Zelenyi patrul” team won the first place (Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “Yutazinskaya Secondary General Education School of Yutazinskiy district, the Head is a school teacher Gulnaz Garayeva). “Lesnoy Dozor” team (MBEI “Zai-Karatai Secondary General Education School” of Leninogorskiy district, the Head is Acting Forest Warden of Zai-Karataevskiy district forestry of SPI of RT “Leninogorskiy Forest District”, Rosa Yakupova) was in second place, the third was the “Druzya prirody” team. (MBEI “Malo-Lyzinskaya Secondary General Education School of Baltasinskiy district, Head is a teacher Veronika Egorova).
The award ceremony for the winners of the online quest will be held in July 2019 as part of the opening of the Third Meeting of the school forest districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.
