Today, employees of SPI of RT “Prigorodnyi Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise” conducted an environmental raid within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period. Experts examined the territory of Matyushinskiy district forestry, collected the debris and carried out the cutting of dead trees.
“Unfortunately, we reveal the facts of illegal littering of the forest fund. Basically, these are territories adjacent to roads, dachas and settlements. “We are trying to bring violators to justice, but this is not easy”, said Ilnur Kashafeyev, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Prigorodnyi Forest District. - For example, last year more than 250 cubic meters of garbage were removed from the territory of forestry, 20 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up. This year 25 cubic meters have been exported, the work in this direction has just begun”.
Since April 1, 2019, the state forest inspectors of the republic conducted 93 raids around populated areas and near federal and regional roads. It should be noted that on April 22, the campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” initiated by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan starts.
