Sanitary and recreational activities on the area of more than 6.4 thousand hectares will be carried out in Tatarstan this year

A forest pathology survey of forest stands continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the state task, this year it will be completed on the area of ​​42.4 thousand hectares.

In turn, sanitary measures will be held on the area of ​​more than 6.4 thousand hectares, including illiquid wood harvesting - on the area of ​​3.1 thousand hectares.

Sanitary and recreational measures are part of a complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of plantations, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, reduce damage from pests and diseases.
