Within “Ecology” national project, 4.5 million rubles for the purchase of forestry machinery and equipment in the Republic of Tatarstan will be allocated in 2019
In 2019, Tatarstan will purchase specialized forestry machinery and equipment in the amount of 4.5 million rubles as part of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the national project “Ecology”. For these funds it is planned to purchase 15 units of silvicultural machinery (forest planters, cultivators, seeders, plows, sprayers, etc.). In just 6 years of the project implementation, 23.5 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to equip subordinate institutions of the Ministry.
It should be noted that in the current year it is also planned to purchase 48 units of forestry machinery at the expense of the republican budget.
The regional project “Forests Conservation” will be implemented in Tatarstan from 2019 to 2024. Its main goal is to ensure the balance of cutting and reproduction of forests in the ratio of 100% by 2024. To achieve this goal, two main indicators have been established: “the ratio of reforestation and afforestation to the area of felled and dead forest stands” and “damage from forest fires”.
